Windows 7 provides a good assortment of themes to customize the look of your computer. Particular themes are based on the location and the language selected during installation.

You can look for the location-specific themes in the Personalize menu. Just right-click on your computer desktop and select “personalize”. You are able to select a couple of themes according to your location e.g “Untied Kingdom”.

You can enable more location specific themes in Windows 7 very easily. Just follow these steps: Click the Windows logo (Start button). In the search box, type C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT and then press enter. Windows Explorer will open and show you a list of folders. These folders contain themes for Canada, South Africa, Australia and so on. If you open each folder you will see another folder called “Theme”. Open this folder and double click on the file inside (the .theme file). This will add the new theme under the “My Themes” within the “Personalization” area. You can now select these new themes.
